Christine Aeschlimann


Christine Aeschlimann is a pharmacist by training. She obtained her states examination and her PhD from the University of Bern. She worked as a research assistant in the US and collected several years of working experience as a hospital pharmacist at the Inselspital in Bern. Due to a quality project which she co-directed in the Inselspital, she decided to switch her carrier to (hospital) management. She obtained an executive MBA in health care at the Bern University of Applied Science. She worked as a director for two small non-profit organizations in the fields of prevention/health promotion and psycho-social support for cancer patients and their families in Bern. She worked for the Swiss Professional Association of Pharmacists in optimizing the new mandatory post-graduate education for community pharmacists and the new federal examination. Since almost 2 years she works part-time for the Swiss Group for clinical cancers research SAKK as a program manager for the patient advisory board and coordinates the patient and public involvement in clinical trials. Christine is currently doing the CAS in clinical trial management at the CTC at the USZ in Zürich.
